Softmeet extends its deepest condolences to the families, friends, and school communities affected by the tragic road accident in Gauteng that claimed the lives of at least 13 children.
The loss of young lives in circumstances that were preventable is heartbreaking and unacceptable. We hold the bereaved families in our thoughts and stand with those who are injured and recovering. No family should endure such loss while children are simply on their way to school.
This tragedy is a stark reminder of the responsibility carried by all road users and transport operators, especially those entrusted with the safety of children. We support the call for stricter enforcement, accountability, and improved safety standards in school transportation.
